Best hotels in Eilat – ISRAEL21c

The resort town of Eilat, in Israel’s southern Red Sea, is a fantastic vacation destination with beautiful beaches, scenic mountains and a fun boardwalk where you can shop for souvenirs and hang out. But there is so much more to do.

Eilat offers a wide variety of water sports and hiking trails, the Coral World underwater observatory, Dolphin Reef, an indoor ice rink, a bird watching station, the Coral Beach nature reserve and, as a bonus, tax-free purchases.

It’s easier than ever to get to Eilat, perpetually sunny since the opening of nearby Ramon Airport in 2019. This winter, a record number of direct flights are heading to Ramon Airport from European cities and from Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, in addition to train and bus.

Where to stay during your vacation in Eilat?

There are plenty of choices to suit all budgets, from huge 5-star resorts to small boutique properties and hostels. Eilat has about 11,000 rooms spread across almost 50 hotels. In the coming years, a new golf and tourist complex will be built in Eilat with around 560 hotel rooms.

Many of the hotels in our list below are aimed at families, while some are aimed at a romantic getaway and others at students and backpackers.
