BSTAN Homes plans to supply 100,000 homes a year and opens an office in Lagos
BSTAN Homes, one of Nigeria’s leading commercial, retail and luxury residential property developers, has announced plans to provide 100,000 homes annually through its National Housing Fair.
The organization has also opened an office in Lagos and launched seven groundbreaking projects including Baleric Estate, Eleko Junction; Rubyrose Estate at Abraham Adesanya, Lekki; Ocean View Resort at Ibeju Lekki; De-Royal Estate, Ojota Arepo; Olive City Estate, Ado Junction, Ibeju Lekki; Flora City Estate, Ogombo Road, Lekki and City Max Estate, Magodo Phase 1.
Speaking at the launch of her Lagos branch, Becky Olubukola, President of BSTAN Homes, said that considering that Lagos is the most populous state in Nigeria and possibly West Africa , the need for housing in Lagos cannot be overstated.
According to Olubukola, many people live in slums and several people cannot afford to pay rent, adding that one of the main things that BSTAN Homes intends to achieve in Lagos is to make housing affordable and available to all and to ensure that every Nigerian can finance their projects.
“We’ve been in business for 16 years now and we understand housing development. I am an actor of the development of the Habitat. I have a doctorate in property management and construction. I have a voice in housing and I know the most important thing to do as a real estate company is to make your homes affordable.
“Several ongoing projects in Lagos are not affordable. What is important is to build what people can afford, to offer them mortgages. This is one of the things that sets us apart in the 11 states where we operate in Nigeria, especially our head office in Abuja,” she explained.
The chairman of BSTAN said the organization has 14 ongoing projects in Abuja that have been sold, noting that the company’s projects are often sold between three and six months.

She said it is because BSTAN Homes has multiple mortgage plans for customers as people can make daily payments, weekly payment of N33,000, monthly payment of N50 and quarterly payment of N150,000, emphasizing that the organization is a friendly organization.
“We have the Kiddies legacy for children, projects for young people and for everyone. One of the things to be reassured about is that there is something for everyone at BSTAN Homes,” she added.
Olubukola said that one of the main achievements of BSTAN is the National Home Fair and it will organize the 6th edition of the Fair this year on December 1, 2022 at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos.
She hinted that since the fair, BSTAN has provided 26,850 dwellings, with its major plan being to ensure that it can provide 100,000 dwellings every year.
“We do 10 plots for free every year, which means 50 families have received 50 free houses since the start of the National House Fare. She assured that this year will be no different as the lucky raffle winners will not only be gifted houses, but there will be several other clearing gifts.
“Ten families will own plots of land in Lagos worth millions of naira. Raffle tickets win these plots and several other consolation prizes. Beyond this, we have a 20% discount on all our projects open in Lagos Raffle tickets are available online and at our office in Lagos,” she said.
