Celebrate the start of 2022 with Rick Springfield and George Thorogood at Foxwoods Resort Casino on New Years Day.
Over the past four decades, Springfield has worn several hats as an artist and performer. The creator of some of the best power-pops of the ’80s, a Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and musician who has sold 25 million albums and recorded 17 US Top 40 hits, including “Jessie’s Girl,” ” Don’t Talk to Strangers, â€â€œ A Matter of the Heart, â€â€œ I Did Everything for You, â€â€œ Loving Someone â€and“ Human Touch. â€He is an accomplished actor who played alongside Meryl Streep in the feature film “Ricki and the Flash”, gave a chameleon performance as the spooky Dr. Pitlor in HBO’s high-profile drama “True Detective”, garnered great reviews for his portrayal of Lucifer on the CW hit “Supernatural†and recently played Pastor Charles in “American Horror Story.†In 2014, Springfield was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, located around the corner from the first apartment he lived in when he arrived in the United States from Australia in 1971.
