VANCOUVER, BC, October 6, 2022 /CNW/ – Following the announcement of Hotel Belmont becoming the first Canadian hotel to join the highly acclaimed MGallery Collection, Hotel Belmont MGallery and its on-site dining outlets – The Living Room and The Basement, have organized the Hotel House Party as the first official major event after the rebranding, attended by the CP Group team

The Hotel House Party not only celebrated the hotel’s excellence in hospitality, design and entertainment, but also marked the rebirth of the property’s dining and nightlife program via The Living Room and The Basement. The Belmont MGallery Hotel hosted numerous media, taste makers, industry leaders, friends and family throughout the evening of September 22 and showcased their award-winning retro-chic suites, captivating musical performances and live entertainment, and of course, the eclectic and delicious food and drink offerings.

Guests were taken on a journey and had the opportunity to collect activation stamps on their ‘passport’ as they sampled Belmont MGallery’s delicious creations and explored different areas of the hotel: the lounge, the kitchen, the den, the basement and the guest. suites. Those who collected all the stamps on their passport were then entered to win three major prizes, courtesy of the Belmont MGallery Hotel.

On the menu that evening, the Living Room’s signature dishes and cocktails, as well as its comforting version of the classics: a build-it-yourself macaroni and cheese station, based on bechamel with three cheeses and various toppings and the signature smoking gun cocktail (made with Bulleit Bourbon) were served in The Living Room, alongside three refreshing goose and juice flavors made with Gray Goose Vodka and cold pressed juice. Pulled Pork Tacos were served in The Kitchen to accompany the Volcano Tequila Frozen Margaritas and in The Basement, the instagram-worthy HB sour was served all night along with a table of treats and a chocolate fountain.

In addition to the culinary tour and aftermath, part of this evening’s activations involved a live sketch by a renowned fashion illustrator Mandy Lau at The Den, where guests received a copy of their “portraits” drawn on location by the artist. This activation was also in support of the Art begins at schoola charity that promotes the role of art in the education of children.

With music and nightlife being a big part of the Belmont MGallery Hotel’s success, it’s only fitting that Hotel House Party is filled with exciting musical acts and performances. From the one-man-band Paul Felik who serenaded attendees earlier in the evening, lead guitarist Alex Herd who anchored the laid-back champagne service in the Belmont Suite, for dj Nik Neroand OF THE who kept the party going in The Basement and The Living Room all night long. To top it off, a Red Bull Music 3 style world champion in 2011 DJ Hedspinclosed the party in style.
