How to Celebrate New Years at Atlantic City and Philly Area Casinos

The last night of the year has historically been a major profit accelerator for casinos, as their most opulent annual bacchanals have typically been the New Years holidays for what are commonly referred to as the “big players”.

But the hoi-polloi are never ignored: non-players (and those with modest budgets) have always enjoyed headlining parties and / or performances. And while last year’s festivities were torpedoed by COVID-19, this December 31 will see a return to the old ways.

Below is a sample of public offerings at regional casinos:

Legendary Philly Radio Deity Jerry blavat hosts an evening that includes an open bar, a surf and turf dinner, dancing, a performance by the Pillars of “Sound of Philadelphia”, the Blue notes (“If you don’t know me by now”), and a midnight champagne toast.

$ 150 per person; tickets must be purchased before 8 p.m. on December 24.

Party at The wave the nightclub offers a three-hour bar (8 p.m. to 11 p.m.), party supplies, a midnight toast and music by The exceptions.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Chicago go on stage at Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena at 10:30 p.m. Tickets here.

Invaluable occurs from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the Lobby bar. No cover charge.

the Go Wild NYE the festivities begin at 9 p.m. at the Wild Wild West Casino, with revelers enjoying an open bar, photo booth, dancing to the sound of Lost in Paris and Garden State Radio! and mechanical bull riding.

Tickets are $ 60 per person.

A free evening with Kristen and the noise starts at 10 p.m. at C-Bar.

The swimming pool after dark is Party Central at the Bay Game Room as a DJ Chris Divine start the party (and keep it going) with the help of DJ Dnial. Three packages are available:

Open Bar Early Bird offers party goers unlimited libations between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. $ 75 per person.

Fixed Price Dinner offers the Vibe Dining experience in addition to the bar open from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. $ 195 per person.

General admission arrives at 11 p.m. $ 50 per person.

the NYE Red & White Gala at Live! Event center features buffet dinner, open bar and dancing to the area’s most popular ‘party band’ Don’t call me François. Doors open at 9:30 p.m. Admission is $ 500 per person (minimum of two tickets).

The festivities start at 9 p.m. at Sports and society: General admission includes food and a selection of bottled and draft beers, cocktails (no shots), wine and midnight toast. $ 89 per person.

VIP stand package includes general admission offers as well as a sofa / table for six people, two bottles of champagne and a dedicated waiter. $ 235 per person.

The recently opened Nola’s bar and lounge organize a party that starts at 6 p.m. From 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., rockets perform, followed by 3 a.m. in Tokyo. A complimentary midnight champagne toast is included in the $ 50 admission fee per person. Tickets here.
