Josh Hamlin has been named Food and Beverage Manager at the Hartness Hotel in Greenville
Hay Creek Hotels announces Josh Hamlin as Food and Beverage Manager at the Hartness Hotel in Greenville, SC. In this role, he will oversee food and beverage service at The Hartness Hotel to include the fine dining restaurant Patterson Kitchen + Bar, The Captain, an intimate bar located inside the Hartness Mansion, the full-service H Spa and over 16,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Boutique hotel Conveniently located within the award-winning 449-acre community of Hartness, The Hartness Hotel will provide a luxurious and idyllic retreat close to downtown Greenville. The Hartness Hotel is slated to open this winter, and the property’s debut will mark Hay Creek Hotels’ first property in northern South Carolina.
As Director of Dining, Hamlin will lead the dining program at The Hartness Hotel, including building the culinary service teams to deliver a superior and distinctive dining experience at all of the property’s restaurants. He will also collaborate with Executive Chef Tanner Marino to create menus for Patterson Kitchen + Bar, The Captain and Spa H, in addition to banquet menus.
Hamlin brings with him nearly two decades of experience managing foodservice operations for several notable hotels and resorts. He arrived at the Hartness Hotel most recently from Spring Hill Suites Marriott & Towneplace Suites in Winter Garden, Florida, where he served as the Complex Manager of Food and Beverage for the 496-room, 7,000-square-foot resort. of meeting space. Hamlin is no stranger to Greenville and his experience also includes working at Aloft Greenville Downtown where he was integral to its pre-opening and opening success as Food and Beverage Manager. At Aloft, Hamlin also oversaw the development of menus, recipes and signature cocktails for W XYZ® Bar and Re:fuel.
