Little Creek Casino Opens Closest Sportsbook to Olympia

Little Creek Casino Resort in Shelton will offer sports betting in its new lounge, which opened on Tuesday 1 February.

Owned and operated by the Squaxin Island Tribe, the bookmaker is closest to Olympia and is among the first tribal casinos in Washington State to offer sports betting.

In partnership with International Game Technologythe Little Creek Sports Book will open on the casino’s main floor with eight betting kiosks, 30 deluxe lounge seats, eight 82-inch video screens and a 20-by-10-foot LED video wall.

The resort, located 15 minutes from Olympia and an hour from Seattle and Tacoma, is also home to the Salish Cliffs Golf Club, Seven Inlets Spa and Skookum Creek Event Center as well as a 190-room hotel.

Sports betting became legal exclusively at casinos in 16 tribes in September 2021, but a new federal lawsuit announced last month could bring sports betting to the private sector.
