New Owners of Travelodge Hotel in Niagara Falls Plan Major Investments
The Travelodge by Wyndham hotel on Lundy’s Lane in Niagara Falls has a new owner and will undergo a complete renovation with upgrades including a new Starbucks Express location.
Toronto-based K2 Group announced on Wednesday it had acquired the hotel a stone’s throw from the Canada One outlet stores.
He said the hotel is “nestled among a host of dynamic and value-rich shopping, entertainment and dining experiences. Travelodge Lundy’s Lane is ideal for both business and leisure travelers, enabling productivity on the go. the road without complicating the customer experience too much.
K2 said the hotel already has a number of amenities and services that give it a significant competitive advantage over other Lundy’s Lane hotels. But he said he was still planning major investments in the hotel.
“The property will be completely renovated with improvements to the indoor and outdoor pools, restaurant, fitness center, meeting spaces, banquet facilities and 118 guest rooms,” the company said in a press release.
A Starbucks Express is also expected to open on-site by the end of the year, and negotiations for a new franchise food and drink offering are already underway to occupy the existing restaurant and will be announced soon, K2 said.

K2 said Niagara receives more than 13 million visitors per year in non-pandemic time, with tourism spending totaling $ 2.4 billion and $ 1.7 billion from overnight visitors.
