Staind frontman Aaron Lewis has been forced to postpone the start of his solo acoustic tour as he recovers from surgery to have his appendix removed.

His team shared a photo of Aaron from his hospital bed and the message: “No more appendix and no show this weekend, but the AFL is out of surgery and doing great.”

The tour was scheduled to kick off last Friday, Jan. 14 in Davenport, IA at the Adler Theater and Saturday’s shows in Inman, KS and tonight’s (Jan. 16) in Springfield, MO didn’t go as planned.

Lewis is now set to kick off the trek this Friday, January 21 at the Saenger Theater in Pensacola, Florida. He’s hitting the road in support of his upcoming album, “Frayed At Both Ends,” which hits stores January 28.
