Turtle Creek Hotel Renovation Set to Begin
WILLIAMSBURG, MI – Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos has announced the start of a sweeping hotel renovation at Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel with a new lobby design and a comprehensive update to all 137 guest rooms and suites that combine understated luxury with modern amenities and chic, Native Interiors with American accents. The hotel’s renovation will be unveiled in mid-November.
The design and structural upgrades to the lobby will include three reception gates, an open-air lounge and a Creek Boutique featuring branded products, travel and convenience items.
Every surface of the hotel rooms will be redesigned with sleek functionality and the addition of microwaves and refrigerators to the list of amenities, along with all hallways and corridors. The hotel is located within walking distance of the 56,000 square foot casino gaming floor, restaurants, six bars, gift shop, high limit room, players club and from Caesar’s Sportsbook.
The hotel will be closed for the planned 10-week renovation from September 6, 2022, with guests directed to more than 600 rooms at sister property Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, a five-minute shuttle ride away.

Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel, located 11 miles northeast of downtown Traverse City and 15 minutes from Cherry Capital Traverse City Airport, is owned and operated by the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and the Indians Chippewa.
